Today's session in the Parliament of Albania was accompanied by debates, where the cause was the draft resolution of the Democratic Party regarding the Serbian genocide in Kosovo.

The head of the group of democrats, Enkelejd Alibeaj, accused the speaker of parliament, Lindita Nikolla, of lying about this draft resolution.

He said that he agreed with MP Tritan Shehu who had filed a resolution on this issue.

"You just lied, I'm sorry to say it.

There is a draft resolution presented by me on May 27.

There is another draft resolution that looks like two drops of water.

I have found the language with Mr. Shehu.

We were in the Commission, I introduced him, and I found the language with Shehu.

We should have had a session on May 27.

With such alibis, madam, you cannot be pushed", Alibeaj said.

"You said;

Kosovo cannot divide us.

You are causing artificial division.

You have a legal, constitutional obligation of the regulation to pass a draft resolution not only in the conference, but to bring it to the session.

Everyone discusses the Serbian genocide in Kosovo.

This phrase has become yours and you avoid it like the devil from incense.

You can't avoid them.

It takes intellectual courage to face this situation.

You have to, you have to now.

Here you all are.

We all plead for the issue of Kosovo.

It is an obligation, first political and institutional, to discuss that draft resolution", Alibeaj noted.

In response, Nikolla said that these draft resolutions will be discussed in the Foreign Affairs Committee and no consensus has been reached in the committee.

“Put the word back;

lying!

That you just identified that there are two draft resolutions on the same issue.

I put the decision of the 20th at your disposal and it is clearly stated;

these draft resolutions will be discussed in the Foreign Affairs Committee.

No consensus was reached in the Commission.

You addressed me with the word lie and I want to explain to you and others".

He accused Nikola of taking away his right to bring the amendments, which include the recognition of the Serbian genocide in Kosovo.

"My right to present amendments is not given to me by you, nor by the one who is down here, it is given to me by the rules of the assembly, you presented a draft resolution to the external committee, we agreed.

Everyone has the right to submit amendments.

I requested that in that draft resolution that we supported, it should be foreseen that this Assembly recognizes the Serbian genocide in Kosovo", added Alibeaj.

"You have presented a draft resolution where the assembly must maintain a position expressed by Dick Marti.

The cause is the Serbian genocide in Kosovo.

Why are you afraid to mention it and vote?

You take away my right to present the amendments, you have 24 hours before the session.

Who are you to take away the right to table amendments?

You are committing a very serious offense.

You're lying again.

I went to the external committee, presented the draft resolution, we didn't have any kind of problem.

You are only afraid.

Who are you doing this favor to?

What is this fear that made you to make a hash of what happened in Kosovo in '98-'99?

what are you

Why don't you do this?

It is history that will judge you, this session can also be seen there", said Alibeaj.
