Minister of State Dinesh Khatik, who brought political upheaval from Lucknow to Delhi by accusing Yogi government officials of insulting Dalits and corruption in the Jal Shakti department, met CM Yogi Adityanath today.

Swatantra Dev Singh also stayed with in this meeting.

In the evening at the CM residence, this meeting lasted for about 40 minutes.

After leaving the CM residence after the meeting, Khatik indicated that he would withdraw his resignation and said that he would continue to work with CM Yogi as before.

On Thursday, Minister of State Dinesh Khatik's meeting with the Chief Minister was awaited since morning in the corridors of governance and power.

Khatik reached the Chief Minister's residence at 4.09 pm.

After his arrival, Jal Shakti Minister Swatantra Dev Singh also reached the Chief Minister's residence. The Chief Minister heard Khatik's side by sitting next to Swatantra Dev and Dinesh Khatik.

Khatik put other complaints in front of the CM including non-distribution of work, no transfer on his recommendation, non-hearing from the officials.

According to sources, the Chief Minister assured to address their grievances.

After a conversation with the Chief Minister that lasted for about 40 minutes, Khatik went out of the Chief Minister's residence at 4.50 pm.

Talking to the media outside the Chief Minister's residence, Khatik said that he has put his complaints and issues before the CM, action will be taken against him.

On the question of resignation, he said that he will continue to do the work he was doing earlier.

He said that the Yogi government is working on the policy of zero tolerance towards corruption.

Khatik described Jal Shakti Minister Swatantra Dev Singh as his elder brother. 

It is reported from the sources that the allocation of work to Dinesh Khatik and Ramkesh Nishad, Minister of State for Jal Shakti Department, will be done soon.

Along with giving respectable work to both the ministers of state, instructions will also be given to the officers to pay attention to them.
