Albania and Europe are facing continuous price increases in the markets.

In our country, inflation reached 7.4 percent in June, while in the European Union, 8.7 percent.

The data show that transportation and food caused difficulties for Albanian families.

Also, the service in bars and hotels has been sold more expensively.

The biggest increase was seen last month in oil, cereals and car repair at mechanics.

More than 10%, sweets and vegetables have become more expensive.

On the other hand, in Europe, energy increased by 42 percent, followed by food and tobacco by 8.9 percent, and together with other groups, the inflation rate reached 8.6 percent.

But, even though the inflation rate is higher in the EU, the crisis has been felt more here, since Albanian families spend about 40 percent of their income on food, while European families spend 15 percent of their salaries.

In June, the government closed the temporary payment of assistance to the lowest income families, while it has not given any signal to continue these payments or to offer a new package.
