The Prime Minister of Albania, Edi Rama, spoke today during the Intergovernmental Conference between Albania and the European Union.

In his speech, Rama emphasized that although a short time ago it was difficult to think that the unlocking of the membership process would happen, Albania has never thought of giving up.

He added that in Albania there is rarely complete agreement on the country's European future.

Rama added that during the history of Albania, it is the first time that the country chooses its future.

"Everyone knows that the road to being here has not been easy", said Rama, adding that the EU is "our dream, challenge, mission and destiny".
