A traffic accident between a car and a horse happened today in the early hours of the morning in Rashuiq i Peja.

The news was confirmed by the police spokesman for the region of Peja, Driton Rugova.

Rugova said that the driver suffered injuries and the horse died.

"Today around 02:30 in the village of Raushiq in Peja, the police was informed about an accident that occurred between a car and a horse.

The accident happened after the animal, unattended by anyone, was hit by a car while crossing the road.

The animal died and the driver suffered bodily injuries," said Rugova.
