Felipe González Morales

flew to Minsk .

Anatol Glaz

, spokesperson of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Belarus

, said that Minsk agreed to the visit and to familiarize Morales with the situation of migrants in the country.

On July 18, the official program of the visit began in Hrodna, then the delegation will come to Minsk.

"In Minsk, the special rapporteur will meet with Belarusian public associations, international organizations present in Belarus, refugees and migrants," Glaz said.

Morales will also come to the Belarusian-Polish border, which was previously stormed by migrants when Belarusian security forces ignored such actions, and the Lukashenka regime accused Poland of inhumane treatment of migrants.

On the night of July 18-19, 15 people, including citizens of Cameroon, Sri Lanka, Iran, and Turkey, tried to enter Poland illegally from Belarus.

This was reported by the Border Guard of Poland.

The Polish side stated that this group of migrants arrived in transit through the territory of Russia, and in Belarus the security forces drove them under the border in order to illegally push people into the European Union.
