In January-June 2022, goods worth 22.5 billion manats were sold to consumers in the retail trade network in Azerbaijan.

"APA-Economics" informs that this was reported by the State Statistics Committee.

According to the information, compared to the same period last year, retail trade turnover increased by 2.9% in real terms.

During this period, 12.6 billion manat worth of food products, beverages and tobacco products, 9.9 billion manat worth of non-food goods were sold.


This is 2.3% and 3.6% more, respectively.

The average monthly retail trade turnover per person of the population was 373.5 manats or 50.7 manats more in nominal terms compared to the same period of 2021.

In the trade network, a resident of the country bought on average 209.6 manats of food products, beverages and tobacco products and 163.9 manats worth of non-food goods per month.
