Protesters gathered this evening in front of the building of the First District Police Department in the capital.

They are calling for stricter enforcement of the law to prevent incidents like the crash on Cherni Vrah Boulevard in which a drugged driver with alleged police ties killed two young women.

The protestors in front of the building of the First Police Station in Sofia are the same ones who for two days organized protests at the scene of the serious incident at the intersection of Cherni Vrah Blvd. and Sveti Naum Blvd.

People at the protest are demanding stricter enforcement of laws, especially when it comes to traffic accidents.

They admit that the Ministry of Internal Affairs has taken some measures in this regard, but according to them they are not enough, BNR reported.

The protesters are also demanding the resignation of the head of the First Police Station in Sofia, as well as the director of the SDVR.

They were adamant that if there were no concrete measures from the authorities, they would continue with their protests in various places in the capital.
