The Swedish company H&M Group announced on Monday that it will leave the Russian market given the current operational challenges and an unpredictable future, reports BNR. 

Europe's largest clothing retail chain suspended operations in the country in March following Russia's invasion of Ukraine.

The apparel company said it will temporarily reopen its physical stores in Russia for a limited time to sell remaining inventory.

It also predicts that pulling out of the Russian market will cost it about SEK 2 billion (about $192 million), of which about SEK 1 billion (or $96 million) will have a direct impact on cash flow and be included as one-time costs in the company's financial results for the third quarter of 2022.
