In South Delhi's Govindpuri, a live-in partner killed his female partner after a minor argument over money transfer.

The deceased woman has been identified as Zulekha.

The police have arrested two accused in this case as well.

Those have been identified as Omprakash and Rajkumar.

The incident came to light when the landlord of the deceased woman informed the police about the woman's disappearance.

Landlord Brajesh had told the police that he suspected a youth named Om Prakash of kidnapping the woman.

After this information received from Brajesh, Govindpuri police station came into action and the investigation of the case started.

During the investigation, the footage of the CCTV camera installed at Brajesh's house was examined.

Investigation revealed that on June 26, 2022, three men were carrying a woman who appeared to be unconscious in a black Swift DZire car.

Two people were identified as Omprakash and Rajkumar from the CCTV footage while the third person could not be identified.

The locations of the accused were raided immediately but they had escaped from there. But on July 5, the accused Omprakash and Rajkumar were arrested from Seemapuri area. 

DCP Isha Pandey of South Eastern District Police said that as soon as we got information from Brajesh.

We made our team and arrested the first accused.

During our interrogation, the accused Omprakash revealed that he was in a live-in relationship with Zulekha Bibi Khan aka Rekha.

On the day of the incident, Omprakash and Zulekha got into a fight over a petty issue of transferring money to a female neighbor.

Angered by this, Omprakash strangled Zulekha and fled from the spot.

Omprakash then called his brother Rajkumar and a friend Sanjay to help him dispose of Zulekha's body.

The trio dumped the body near the service lane of Yamuna Expressway in Dankor area of ​​Gautam Budh Nagar, later.

Later we got information that the local police have recovered the body and after conducting the postmortem, it has also been cremated.
