The leader of the Macedonian opposition party, OBRM-PDUKM, Hristijan Mickoski has stated that the entire protocol presented by the Minister of Foreign Affairs, Bujar Osmani, is against North Macedonia.

According to him, Bulgaria does not know the Macedonian language, but the European Commission is trying to give the case a different treatment.

"Before that real intergovernmental meeting takes place when the negotiating framework must be approved, there is a part where introductory statements are made by the Macedonian government and the EC, at least where it is said that both countries will make unilateral statements.

I don't think so!

Do you know what unilateral declaration Macedonia will give about the Macedonian language which has been codified, standardized since the third United Nations Conference in 1977 in Greece?

And what statement will Bulgaria make?

Why don't they say that?

Even if there is a third statement, the EC should say that regardless of what we say, Bulgaria does not recognize the Macedonian language or has a different treatment towards it.

The other 26 members have no doubt that it is the Macedonian language", emphasized the chairman of OBRM-PDUKM, Hristijan Mickoski in a TV show.

Mickoski added that during the negotiation process, Bulgaria does not close the issue of the Macedonian language.

"Osman himself says today in that conference that there will be changes in the school textbooks, so he refers to Samuel's kingdom, etc., he also refers to other changes that must be submitted to history textbooks, and wasn't the Protocol part of the framework until yesterday of the negotiations, wasn't the story part of the framework of the negotiations?", said Mickoski.

He emphasized that everything the government said turned out to be a lie.
