The leader of the Albanian opposition party, Ziadin Sela, through an announcement on Facebook, has congratulated all citizens for the approval of the French proposal.

He declares that with the voting of the proposal, it was proven how serious the parties are at crucial moments for the state and the European journey.

"Serious, responsible and sincere parties are seen on the decisive days, when without bargaining, with knowledge, courage and a clean face, even being in the opposition, they bring important decisions and save decisive processes for the future of citizens.

Today the deputies of the Alliance for Albanians were decisive in securing the necessary quorum for the approval of the conclusions for the French proposal, which opens the doors of the EU, which had been closed for three decades.

Just like in 2017 when we enabled membership in NATO and today, we proved that power does not seduce us, and being in the opposition does not make us less responsible, but on the contrary, seeing the irresponsibility of this power, we stayed true to the word given to our citizens and we took the trust to the country.

The French proposal was approved with a total of 68 votes in favor, while since the acceptance of the French proposal by the Macedonian state, ASH declared that it will support the same.
