Georgian Prime Minister Irakli Garibashvili met with Armenian Foreign Minister Ararat Mirzoyan.

According to information provided to APA by the press service of the Prime Minister of Georgia, the main issue discussed during the conversation was the meeting of the foreign ministers of Armenia and Azerbaijan in Tbilisi.

Irakli Garibashvili emphasized that it is important to develop positive dynamics of dialogue in the future.

During the meeting, Georgia's peaceful neighborhood initiative was discussed and its role in helping to normalize regional relations was emphasized.

Also, attention was paid to current and future prospects of cooperation between Georgia and Armenia, including economic and bilateral trade relations.

The parties discussed the situation in the South Caucasus.

The head of government thanked Ararat Mirzoyan for Armenia's strong support for Georgia's sovereignty and territorial integrity.

Armenian Deputy Foreign Minister Vahe Gevorgyan and Georgian Foreign Minister Iliya Darchiashvili took part in the meeting.
