The Prime Minister of Albania, Edi Rama, has presented the Kashiku family with the status of "Martyr of the Fatherland" for Anri Kashiku, the young man who sacrificed his life to save two minors on the beach of Durrës.

Anri Kashiku is the hero boy who gave his life to save two other lives, that of his little brother and his friend.

Prime Minister Rama was at the home of the Kashiku family, to console them for the untimely death of their son, as well as to present the family with the status of "Martyr of the Motherland" for Anri.

"According to the new law that we made and which is related to acts of heroism, that he saved two lives, he is declared "Martyr of the Motherland" - said Prime Minister Rama.

Anri was known by his friends and relatives as a young man, brave and passionate about football.
