Germany will provide 77 million euros to help Moldova cope with the consequences of the war in Ukraine.

APA reports with reference to DPA that German Foreign Minister Annalena Berbock said this at the donor conference held in Bucharest, the capital of Romania.

It was noted that 40 million euros will be given in the form of subsidies for energy costs, and 20 million euros will be allocated to an energy efficiency program and investment in renewable energy, as well as video drones, thermal imaging equipment, terrain vehicles and passport scanners at the border.

The remaining 17 million euros will be allocated to Ukrainian refugees in Moldova.

It should be noted that the financial assistance must first be approved by the Bundestag.
