Record high temperatures have been recorded in Great Britain that reached 38.7 degrees Celsius, which could exceed what prevailed last weekend.

And experts have warned of numerous dangers.

After the second heat wave in July, the western part of Europe is getting ready for another heat wave, Telegraph reports.

As CNN reports, the United Kingdom, Portugal, Spain and France are facing record high temperatures.

Hot winds will continue to blow and are now causing wildfires in southwestern Europe.

The UK Meteorological Institute on Monday warned of extreme heat to prevail on July 17, with temperatures expected to rise later in much of England and Wales.

In Lisbon and Santarem, it has been warned of rising temperatures up to 45 degrees Celsius.

The heat wave will also hit Spain.

On the other hand, in France we have a continuation of high temperatures where during the last two weeks there has been no drop below 40 degrees Celsius.

Not even Italy is doing better, which, in addition to the heat, is facing a severe drought and a lack of drinking water.

What is surprising the most is China, where in this Asian country the temperatures were recorded on the thermometer that marked 40 degrees Celsius.

In a museum in the Chinese city of Chongqing, the ceiling has melted as a result of the extreme heat.

Many trucks have taken to the streets to "refresh" the roads.

The anatomy of our looming heatwave…

The cut-off low spinning to the west of Portugal is helping intensify the heat over Moroccos & Iberia as we speak.

This feature will essentially act like Europe's heat pump.
