The Prime Minister of Montenegro, Dritan Abazović, addressed today the families of the victims of the genocide in Srebrenica.

From there, he ordered that it is very important to accept the genocide that happened 27 years ago, and that, according to him, it was done by bad politics, Telegrafi reports.

Abazović first greeted the mothers from Srebrenica, the families of the victims, ministers and members of the diplomatic corps and all friends in Bosnia and Herzegovina.

The Prime Minister of Montenegro emphasized that today, 27 years ago, humanity was killed.

Today, as he said, symbolically what shows "how wicked we have been" is being marked.

"On July 11, 1995, humanity was killed, but Bosnia continued to live.

Today, what is being symbolically marked is what reminds us of how wicked we have been.

Today, 27 years after that, in the Balkans there is still the spirit of hatred, surveillance, division, which unfortunately is being manifested in fighting, but also in politics or hateful negotiations", added Abazovic.

The Prime Minister of Montenegro considers that the past cannot be changed, but the future can.

He also ordered that the genocide was not committed by the army, but by politics.

"We can't change the past, but we can change the future and it's up to us if we want to live in the Balkans or face the truth, offer support to the victims' families and let these traces remind us of the innocent victims, not about Bosnians but on people.

Genocide was not done by the army, but by politics, the politics of evil.

That's why we need to change and look each other in the eye", added Abazović.
