STF arrested five kidnappers in Gurugram.

The Special Task Force (STF) team of Gurugram has arrested five people for kidnapping the businessman and demanding ransom of 50 lakhs.

Information about the kidnapping of the businessman and demanding ransom of 50 lakhs was shared by Tamil Nadu Police to STF Gurugram yesterday. 

Gurugram STF was informed that KS Villapathy, a textile businessman from Tamil Nadu, and his assistant Vinod have been kidnapped.

The kidnappers are demanding a ransom of Rs 50 lakh from his family.

After this, the STF team swung into action and arrested the mastermind of the incident and four others within 13 hours.

The businessman and his assistant were rescued safely. 

According to STF Chief Satish Balan in this case, during initial interrogation, the kidnappers Jirayani and Aslam revealed that on July 7 the owner of Shri Krishna Textiles KS Villapathy was called from Tamil Nadu to Delhi on the pretext of business deal.

Then he was abducted from Delhi airport along with his three other accomplices. 

The accused took the businessman to Delhi's Janakpuri area and took him hostage and demanded a ransom of 50 lakhs from his family members.

STF Chief Satish Balan told that, Tamil Nadu Police, while sharing information about this incident with them, also told that the location of the phone calls of the kidnappers is coming to Gurugram.

After this the operation of STF "Sakushal" was started.

During interrogation, the kidnappers revealed that they feared that Villapathi might not make a noise.

For this, as soon as he sat in the car, he had tied a bomb-shaped battery in the waist of KS Villapathy and said that if he made noise, he would blow his body to pieces. 

The STF has started investigating the criminal history of Jirayani Babu, Aslam, Mohammad Azad, Sonu and Asif involved in the crime by arresting them.
