Due to the Southwest Monsoon, it is raining heavily in some states of the country these days.

Monsoon clouds are raining heavily, especially in the states of South India.

In the same sequence, the Chief Minister's Office in Kerala said that heavy rain and thundershowers may occur in the state for the next five days.

In such a situation, except Thiruvananthapuram and Kollam, a yellow alert has been declared in all the districts today and tomorrow.

The Central Meteorological Department has issued a yellow alert, but in view of the possibility of heavy rain in the hilly areas, there is a need to be more cautious in the areas where there has been heavy rain in the last few days. 

Apart from Kerala, a red alert has been issued for rain in coastal Karnataka, Konkan and Goa including Mumbai along with Madhya Maharashtra.

Apart from this, IMD has predicted heavy rains in Delhi, Jammu and Kashmir, Ladakh, Gilgit, Muzaffarabad, Punjab, Haryana, Chandigarh, Rajasthan, West Uttar Pradesh, Assam, Meghalaya, Nagaland, Manipur, Tripura.  

The water level of Kadalundi (Malapuram), Bharatapuzha (Palakkad), Shiriya (Kasaragod), Karavannur (Thrissur) and Gayatri (Thrissur) rivers in northern Kerala have risen due to incessant rains for the past several days.

Along with this, the water level of Vamanapuram (Thiruvananthapuram), Neyyar (Thiruvananthapuram), Karmana (Thiruvananthapuram), Kallada (Kollam), Manimala (Idukki), Meenachil (Kottayam) and Kothamangalam (Eranakulam) rivers in South Kerala also increased. Is.  

According to the report, among the dams under the Kerala State Electricity Board, there is a red alert around Lower Periyar and Kallarkutty dams in Idukki district and an orange alert around Peringalkuth dam in Thrissur district.

A blue alert has been declared at Kozhikode's Kuttiyadi dam.

At present, no warning has been announced regarding the dams under the Irrigation Department.
