India will mourn the death of former Japanese Prime Minister Shinzo Abe.

APA reports that Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi said this on Twitter.

"As a sign of our deep respect for former Prime Minister Shinzo Abe, a one-day national mourning will be announced on July 9, 2022," Modi said.

It should be noted that the former Japanese Prime Minister Shinzo Abe was attacked by a gunman during his speech in front of the crowd.

Doctors could not save the life of Abe, who received two gunshot wounds.
