The 65-year-old activist

Alena Hnauk was

sentenced to "days" in a prison cell by the administration of the Baranovice pre-trial detention center.

The woman was supposed to leave there on July 1, but she was not released.

In total, Elena has been in prison for two weeks.

The reason is "refusal to comply with some rule of the pre-trial detention center", according to the activist's relatives.

At the same time, Alena does not lose her cheerful spirit and even started writing the book "Report from the prison".

On June 17, the police prisoner was sentenced to three and a half years in prison under the general regime and fined 3,200 rubles.

The trial of Irina Slavnikova resumed

On June 23, the closed trial of TVP journalist

Irina Slavnikova

began in the Gomel Regional Court .

She is accused of organizing protests and leading an extremist formation.

After an almost two-week break, the process resumed.

On the eve of the resumption of the trial, TVP Info spoke with the father of the police prisoner

, Alexander Slavnikov

.

Talking about the first day of the court session, Alexander, referring to the lawyer, noted that Irina spoke well, confidently and with dignity.

According to Alexander, neither the essence of the accusation against his daughter nor the official reason why the meeting was closed is unknown.

Nevertheless, despite the secrecy of the process, Alexander managed to see his daughter.

"I was lucky that I was summoned as a witness, otherwise I would not have had such an opportunity.

The guards did not let anyone into the hall, the doors were opened as narrow as was necessary for the passage of a person - so that they would not see Irina in the cage.

But when, about an hour after the beginning of the session, I was invited to testify, I already saw my daughter..."

Slavnikova and her husband

Alexander Loika

were detained on October 30, 2021 at the Minsk airport when they were returning from vacation.

The spouses served 30 days of administrative arrest each: the first 15 allegedly for "dissemination of extremist materials", the second 15 for "petty hooliganism".

After some time it became known that Iryna Slavnikova became a suspect under Art.

342 of the Criminal Code ("Organization and preparation of actions that grossly violate public order, or active participation in them").

And at the end of April 2022, Iryna's father Aleksandar Slavnikov found out that his daughter was charged with "creating an extremist organization."

At the beginning of June, Irina was transferred from the Minsk pre-trial detention center to the Voladarsky pre-trial detention center to the Gomel pre-trial detention center-3.
