The Police Inspectorate of Kosovo, respectively the investigators of the Department of Investigations, have recommended to the Kosovo Police the suspension of two police officers (a lieutenant and a police officer).

"The investigation of this case is the continuation of the investigation of the previous case where the IPK has arrested a police officer on the suspicion that he has committed the criminal offense of 'Misuse of official duty or authority' and 'Manipulation of evidence'", the announcement states the media.

On May 24, 2022, the IPK announced that it had arrested a police officer in the Regional Directorate of North Mitrovica on the suspicion that he had committed the criminal offenses of "Misuse of official duty or authority" and "Manipulation of evidence".
