Ambala:

The process of online registration has been completed by the Indian Air Force (IAF) for the Agnipath Recruitment Scheme.

According to the Air Force, 6,31,528 applications were received for recruitment in the past, while this time 7,49,899 applications have been received.

This is the largest number of applications for any Air Force recruitment.

However, the youth of Haryana are unhappy with the Agneepath scheme and are demanding its cancellation.

Haryana is one of those states in the country in which a large number of youth are recruited in the Defense Services, both in the officer cadre and rank.

Especially the youth of this state go to the Jat Regiment of Infantry.

The online registration process conducted by #IAF towards #AgnipathRecruitmentScheme has been completed.

NDTV interacted with youths willing to join the army in Ambala district of Haryana.

He says that the government should cancel the new scheme of recruitment.

One cannot even learn to handle arms and ammunition in four years.

The youth told that they started preparing for recruitment in the army from the age of 15-16 years.

The number of candidates practicing here has reduced since the announcement of the government's Agneepath scheme.

A young man said that we come from a middle class family and there is only one hope of joining the army.

Unemployed cannot sit at home, hence applying for the scheme.

According to the CMIE data of May 2022, unemployment has increased a lot in Haryana.

The unemployment rate in the state is 24.6 percent, which is the highest in the country.

There have been many cases of paper leaks or cancellation of examinations in the state-run recruitment processes.

The youth of Haryana are recruited in large numbers in the armed forces and are looking forward to joining the army.
