A Khadim of Ajmer Dargah in Rajasthan has been arrested.

Khadim had allegedly announced to give his house in front of the camera to the one who beheaded the suspended BJP spokesperson Nupur Sharma.

Nupur Sharma had made a controversial remark about Prophet Mohammad, after which a controversy broke out.

There was outrage about this remark in the country as well as abroad.

was registered on Monday night over a video clip .

In a video whose authenticity is not verified by NDTV, Khadim can be heard saying that whoever brings Nupur Sharma's head to him, will give his house to her.

He was heard saying that he would have shot him (Sharma) for insulting the Prophet.

Referring to the Sufi dargah, he said in the video, 'You have to answer all Muslim countries.

I am saying this from Ajmer in Rajasthan and this message is from the court of Huzur Khwaja Baba.

The SHO of the Dargah police station, Dalveer Singh Faujdar, said that the accused has a criminal background, news agency PTI reported.

Zainul Abedin Ali Khan, Diwan of Ajmer Dargah, condemned the video and said that the famous dargah is seen as a place of communal harmony.

The views expressed by 'Khadim' in the video cannot be taken as the message of the Dargah.

It said that this comment is a personal statement and is highly condemnable.

There is outrage in the state of Rajasthan after the murder of Kanhaiya Lal, a tailor in Udaipur.

Kanhaiyalal had lodged a complaint with the police that he was getting threats after posting a social media post in support of Nupur Sharma. 


After this, two people killed Kanhaiyalal and also imprisoned him on camera.

Riyaz Akhtari and Ghaus Mohammad, accused of murder, were arrested by the police.

These accused had also threatened PM Modi in the video of the murder.

The state police is now taking action against those making remarks that create communal tension.
