Today, everyone, from small to big, came to Aghgol National Park to watch different species of birds, gazelles and other animals.

Because it was "Open Door" day in the National Park.

Unlike everyone else, we were at the aforementioned address early in the morning to watch the sunrise in the National Park area.

Apart from migratory and local birds whose names are included in the "Red List" of the International Union for Conservation of Nature and the "Red Book" of Azerbaijan, other animals also live in Aggol National Park, which is the most famous steppe-lake ecosystem of Azerbaijan.

People who come here mainly come to see and watch gazelles, along with various bird species.

We also want to see gazelles.

It is worth traveling for miles.

Because we do not return empty-handed.

The director of the national park, Khazar Mahammadov, says that

the number of visitors to the park is increasing day by day.

Visitors have the opportunity to see with their own eyes in this wild nature all the creatures that they see in the pictures or models in the park's museum operating in the area.

Lakes in the territory of the National Park, located below sea level, were mainly formed as a result of regular flooding of the Kura and Araz rivers.

So, from time to time, the regular and strong seasonal floods of these rivers have filled the surrounding large hollows and turned into lakes of medium depth and not so large area.

It should be noted that there are 10 national parks in Azerbaijan.

These are Absheron, Altyağac, Shahdag, Samur-Yalama, Shirvan, Hirkan, National Park, Aggol, Goygol, Kizilagac and Zangezur National Parks.
