In May, the number of overnight stays by tourists was 289,346, which is 74.4 percent more compared to April 2022 and 115.8 percent more compared to May 2021. In the total number of overnight stays, the participation of local tourists was 40.6 per cent, and foreign - 59.4 percent.

Overnight stays by local tourists in May are 80.2 percent more compared to April 2022 and 54.9 percent more compared to May 2021. Overnight stays by foreign tourists in May are 70.7 percent more compared to April 2022 .and 195.1 percent higher than May 2021.

Regarding the overnight stays of foreign tourists in May 2022, the largest number of overnight stays were realized by tourists from Serbia (15.8 percent), Croatia (9.4 percent), Turkey (6.3 percent), Slovenia ( 5.7 percent), United Arab Emirates Emirates (5.5 percent), Germany (5.4 percent), Saudi Arabia (4.6 percent), United States (4.0 percent), France (3.2 percent) and Austria (3.0 percent), for a total of 62.9 percent.

Tourists from other countries accounted for 37.1 percent of overnight stays, according to data from the Statistics Agency of Bosnia and Herzegovina.
