In the first quarter of this year, 1,920,834 mobile phone subscribers were registered in the country.

Of the residential ones, 754,337 are prepaid, while 917,605 are postpaid, in addition to which there are also 248,892 business subscribers with a contract, according to the latest data of the Agency for Electronic Communications.

A1 Macedonia has the largest share in the total number of prepaid users with 48.14 percent, followed by Telekom with 47.45 percent, Lycamobile with 3.12 percent, Robi with 1.22 percent, Green Mobile by 0.07 percent.

In revenues from the provision of services, Telecom has the largest share with 51.32 percent, while A1 Macedonia participates with 47.19 percent.

According to AKE data, in the first quarter of the year, 1,403,888 internet access subscribers were registered with wide and narrow coverage through the mobile network (2G/3G/4G), while with a greater participation in the number overall is A1 Macedonia with 49.60 percent.

For the first quarter of this year, the total number of fixed lines (all technologies) in the country is 426,255, where Telekom has a participation of 52.50 percent and A1 Macedonia with 41.07 percent.
