British Prime Minister Boris Johnson and Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky held a telephone conversation today, where they discussed the British citizens who have been captured by the Russians in Ukraine.

During this conversation, the British Prime Minister spoke in detail about the two Britons who were captured in Ukraine, Telegraph reports.

They are Aiden Aslin, 28, and Shaun Pinner, 48, who were captured by Russian forces while fighting alongside the Ukrainians.

They have been sentenced to death by pro-Russian separatists, despite Aslin appealing the verdict.

On the other hand, London announced that this issue was discussed today, without providing more detailed information.

The two leaders discussed the current situation in Ukraine, and the British military equipment that will be sent to Ukraine in the coming weeks.

Britain is one of the countries that, since the beginning of the Russian invasion of Ukraine, has made an extremely large contribution to help the Ukrainian people - by sending them various weapons to protect themselves from Russian aggression.
