Former CM Vasundhara Raje targeted Ashok Gehlot...

Former Rajasthan Chief Minister

Vasundhara Raje

has targeted the Congress-led government of the state over the brutal murder of Kanhaiyalal in Udaipur.

Raje said that 'when Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath can end the atmosphere of such terror and establish peace there, then why can't Ashok Gehlot do the same in Rajasthan'.

He said that a sense of fear and insecurity has arisen among the people which should be ended.

BJP leader Raje demanded death penalty for the murder accused and also advocated for modern training of the police force to deal with new crimes in the changing times.

Raje interacted with the media after meeting the

tailor Kanhaiyalal 's family members at his residence.

He said that if Kanhaiyalal, who worked hard every day to feed the family, had got protection from the Gehlot-led government, he would not have been killed.

Raje alleged that the state government was solely responsible for Kanhaiyalal's murder.

If any government cannot provide security to the citizens of the state even on demand, then it has no right to remain in power.

He said that when Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath can end the atmosphere of terror and establish peace in UP, then why can't Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot do it here.

BJP leader Raje said that now the system of policemen patrolling with sticks will not work and policemen need modern training to deal with new types of crimes like cyber crime.

Raje was accompanied by former BJP state president Ashok Parnami and other leaders.
