In today's meeting, the Government of Kosovo approved the security strategy for the years 2022-2027, which is the second since the declaration of Kosovo's Independence.

Prime Minister Albin Kurti said that the strategy for security was drawn up in cooperation and consultation with all state institutions, and in particular with those in the field of security.

According to him, this strategy has been subjected to the internal and external consultation process, including the QUINT states.

"This is the umbrella strategy of the security sector to a risk, threat and challenges to the security of our country.

At the same time, it presents the possibilities and the vision for our future... The strategy presents the objectives related to state interests, such as the protection of sovereignty and territorial integrity, the preservation of constitutional order and public security, human security and social development, as well as integration into Euro-Atlantic structures and mechanisms. other international.

Kosovo's strategic goal is NATO membership," Kurti said.

He added that Kosovo's strategic goal is NATO and EU membership, as a prerequisite for the security and sustainable development of our country.

"Kosovo will apply to the Partnership for Peace Program and membership in the Adriatic Charter, as well as other regional security mechanisms.

At the same time, Kosovo will apply for candidate status and implement the necessary reforms to facilitate the EU integration process", he said.

The government cabinet has also approved the administrative instruction for the protection of the child against websites with pornographic content and those that harm the health and life of the child.

"In order to protect and care for the health of our children, the Ministry of Internal Affairs has drawn up this draft administrative instruction, which will define the implementation and competences of the relevant institutions to guarantee the healthy development of our children.

This draft guideline is also based on the Child Protection Law and contains children from any inappropriate content that affects the physical, cognitive and emotional development of the child", said Kurti.

In today's meeting, the government cabinet also appointed the board of the Health Insurance Fund, which will be chaired by Dafina Gexha-Bunjaku from the Ministry of Health.

Among other things, the legislative initiative for amending and supplementing the Law on Notary has been approved.

The Minister of Justice, Albulena Haxhiu, has stated that there are more than nine municipalities that do not have notaries.

"Currently, there are more than nine municipalities that do not have notaries because a decision, which overturned a notary's examination process, is still before the Court of Appeal.

Therefore, in these exceptional circumstances, the law provides that the Minister of Justice has the right to appoint a notary in a relevant municipality.
