Prime Minister Dimitar Kovacevski, last night, in talks with the smaller parties of the coalition - the Democratic Union, DOM and PLD, gave his consent for the modified French proposal to be submitted to the plenary session, for the deputies to discuss and the conclusions to be voted.

As Maja Moracanin from DOM told the Macedonian News Agency, at the meeting they requested that the proposal go to a plenary session, and not only through the government, Kovacevski has agreed to this proposal, but it has not been determined when that session will be held. since at the moment, the smaller parties requested the publication of all the documents contained in the proposal, including the protocol, the content of which is not yet known.

At the meeting, the three parties requested that all documents, including the protocol, be translated into the Macedonian language and published and made available to the entire public.

The three coalition partners told Kovacevski that it is unacceptable for them if bilateral issues related to history and education are part of the negotiation process.

"If this influence on the negotiation process means that during the negotiations our focus will not be on the Copenhagen criteria, but we will deal with historical bilateral issues, this is not the purpose of the process!

We want the focus of the negotiation process to be the rule of law, human rights, environmental protection," said Moraçanin from the DOM party.

We recall that the French proposal already came in a modified form, since the first variant with the Bulgarian demands was unacceptable for Macedonia, since according to Prime Minister Kovacevski, Macedonia did not accept negotiations on language, identity and history.
