The Belarusian delegation did not receive a visa to participate in the 29th session of the OSCE Parliamentary Assembly, which is being held in Birmingham, Great Britain.

This was stated by the Chairman of the Committee of the House of Representatives on International Affairs Andrei Savinykh, reports BelTA.

"We applied for a visa in accordance with the requirements of the British side and on time.

We were denied a visa under fabricated and hypocritical pretexts," said Savinykh.

According to him, the deputies were ready for a "tough exchange of opinions".

This is the first time that MP Savinykh will not be able to participate in the annual session of the OSCE Parliamentary Assembly.

Last year, the politician did not get to Vienna because of the refusal to issue a visa.

Then, according to Andrei Savinykh, he was refused a visa because he was going to discuss at the OSCE the involvement of "special services of a number of states, including Poland, in the operation to seize power in the Republic of Belarus through the scenario of a color revolution."
