The steps that can be taken in the future regarding the normalization process between Turkey and Armenia are discussed.

APA's Istanbul correspondent reports that Turkish Foreign Minister Mevlud Çavuşoğlu said this.

He noted that Turkey consults with Azerbaijan at every step in this matter:

"On the other hand, we want to sign a peace agreement between Azerbaijan and Armenia.

Because there is a need for lasting peace in the region.

According to the agreement reached between Azerbaijan and Armenia, Zangezur corridor and other transport projects should be implemented.

Because after the Ukrainian war, the Middle Corridor gained strategic importance."

Çavuşoğlu reminded that the Armenian diaspora is an obstacle to peace:

"Diaspora is divided.

A part of the Armenian diaspora does not want to support normalization in any way, while the other part does.

Some forces inside Armenia are raiding the Prime Minister's house, holding actions in the streets, and exerting serious pressure.

This creates a serious obstacle in the normalization process of Armenia with Azerbaijan and Turkey."
