Agarwal was made the company's CEO in November 2021 after Twitter founder Jack Dorsey left the firm.

In May 2022, Agarwal sacked two very famous employees.

These included consumer products chief Kyvan Becpour and revenue chief Bruce Falk.

Tesla and SpaceX CEO Elon Musk addressed Twitter employees in a meeting a few weeks ago.

Musk was to buy the social media company for $44 billion.

According to Musk, he wants Twitter to develop into a super app similar to WeChat in China.

However, Elon Musk said a month ago that his $44 billion offer would not go ahead until Twitter Inc showed evidence that spambot accounts accounted for less than 5% of its total users.

Also, Musk had indicated that he would like to pay less for the company.
