In Jharkhand, Health Minister Banna Gupta donated blood for the needy patient.

Jharkhand's Health and Disaster Management Minister Banna Gupta on Saturday donated blood to a needy patient undergoing treatment at the Government MGM Hospital in Jamshedpur.
He had gone there to attend an official event.
A woman came to know that the minister has come to the hospital.
On this she reached the venue and requested him to arrange blood for her 49-year-old husband.
The woman's husband was in urgent need of blood.
When he said that he had not found a blood donor, Gupta himself donated blood.
A woman resident of Kalikapur in Potka block of the district blessed the minister.
Later, Banna Gupta told reporters, "I am a human first. I discharged my duty to save the life of a sister's husband."
In March, Banna Gupta was going from Jamshedpur to Ranchi to attend the assembly session.
During this, he saw three youths injured in a road accident at Dulmi in Seraikela-Kharsawan district.
Gupta got down from his vehicle, called an ambulance and waited on the spot till the victims were shifted to a nearby hospital.
On Saturday, Banna Gupta inaugurated a center at MGM Hospital.
There X-rays, ultrasounds and CT scans can be done at a nominal cost.
It will be operated on PPP mode.
