One person has been arrested in connection with the Copenhagen shopping mall shooting. 

Copenhagen, Denmark:

Danish police said several people were killed in a shooting at a Copenhagen mall on Sunday.

Copenhagen Police wrote on Twitter, "A large number of police forces have been deployed around the large field mall in the Amager district between the city center and the airport.

"We are at the spot, shots were fired and many people were injured," he said.

Danish media quoted eyewitnesses as saying that when the first gunshot was heard, more than 100 people rushed to exit the mall. 

The police have urged those trapped in the building to wait for their arrival.

Along with this, other people have been asked to stay away from the area. 

He said that a person has been arrested in connection with the shooting inside the Copenhagen shopping mall. 


Copenhagen Police said in a post on Twitter, "One person has been arrested in connection with the shooting in Fields.

At the moment we cannot say anything more about his identity.
