ED summons former Mumbai Police Commissioner Sanjay Pandey

Mumbai:

The Enforcement Directorate has summoned former Mumbai Police Commissioner Sanjay Pandey on July 5.

According to reports, the investigating agency has sent summons to him in the money laundering case.

Earlier, Sanjay Pandey was questioned by the CBI in March.

CBI had answered questions from Sanjay Pandey for almost 6 hours.

This inquiry from the former police commissioner was done in the recovery case of Rs 100 crore related to Anil Deshmukh.

Former police commissioner Paramvir Singh had made many allegations in this case.

CBI has registered a case against Anil Deshmukh under sections of IPC and section of Prevention of Corruption Act related to alleged criminal conspiracy in the recovery case of 100 crores.

Former Mumbai Police Commissioner Parambir Singh had alleged that Deshmukh had allegedly asked sacked Mumbai Police officer Sachin Waje to extort over 100 crores in the Antilia case.
