The country's president, Vjosa Osmani, on the eve of July 4, the 246th anniversary of US independence, emphasized that what America has done for Kosovo goes beyond any partnership the world has ever known.

In a post on Facebook, Osmani shared photos from the party organized by the American Embassy in Pristina on the eve of July 4.

"Last night, in an extraordinary atmosphere, among many friends from the United States of America and Kosovo, we celebrated the Independence Day of the USA.

What the United States and the American people have done for our country, for our freedom, for our right to exist and for every citizen who calls Kosovo their home, goes beyond any partnership the world has ever known.

On July 4th, we celebrate with the American people and remember the values ​​and ideals upon which the United States was built.

On this day, we also remember all those who over the decades have made an extraordinary contribution to building our eternal friendship", writes Osmani.
