The trial of the person who killed his ex-son-in-law begins in Salyan.

According to the information provided to APA by the Salyan district prosecutor's office,

As reported, on April 25, 2022, the preliminary investigation of the criminal case initiated by the Salyan district prosecutor's office under the relevant article of the Criminal Code on the fact of the intentional killing of Faig Malikov, born in 1985, a resident of Tazakend village, Salyan district, was completed.

Based on the conducted investigation, reasonable suspicions were established that Malikaga Aliyev, born in 1952, killed his former son-in-law Faig Malikov with a knife during a dispute between them on the basis of personal relations.

Melikaga Aliyev was brought in as a person accused under Article 120.1 (intentional murder) of the Criminal Code and was placed under preventive detention by the court's decision.

Currently, the criminal case has been sent to the relevant Lankaran Serious Crimes Court for consideration.
