Some paratroopers from Serbia are said to have been released two days ago in the border area with Kosovo.

In this regard, KFOR has stated that according to their information, the Armed Forces of Serbia have conducted an exercise in the Kragujevac area.

Further, KFOR says that the exercise was warned by Serbian authorities.

"According to KFOR's information, the Armed Forces of Serbia have conducted an exercise in the Kragujevac area within the Land Security Zone on the Serbian side of the administrative border line, in the period of June 29 and 30," says KFOR's response to Klankosova.tv.

"The exercise has been announced by the Serbian authorities in accordance with existing procedures."

"KFOR maintains a presence throughout Kosovo and continues to conduct daily patrols, including the northern part of Kosovo, in full respect of its UN mandate derived from UN Security Council Resolution 1244 of 1999 to ensure a safe environment and freedom of movement for all the people of Kosovo".
