If the post-Soviet countries want to preserve their sovereignty, they should get closer to the state of the Belarusian-Russian Union.

According to APA's Moscow correspondent, the President of Belarus, Alexander Lukashenko, said this in a video address to the participants of the Belarus-Russia Interregional Forum.

"Today, the countries of the post-Soviet space, of course, if they want to protect their sovereignty and independence, they should be sincerely interested in rapprochement with the Union state. We are sure that we can face global challenges only together," the President of Belarus emphasized.

According to him, those who still have doubts should understand: "Without rapid unity and unification, strengthening of interstate relations and simply normal human relations, we may not exist tomorrow.
