Sources say that BJP wants to give a message that it is the government of Shiv Sena led by Eknath Shinde.

Mumbai:

Rebel Shiv Sena leader and minister Eknath Shinde took oath as the Chief Minister of Maharashtra on Thursday evening.

At the same time, the leader of the largest party in the Maharashtra Legislative Assembly, BJP and former Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis took over the post of Deputy Chief Minister of the state.

In such a situation, the round of discussions started that why did BJP do this despite being the single largest party?

What is the party's strategy behind making Eknath Shinde the chief minister?

Will Devendra go to the politics of the Center?

There were many such questions which started floating in the political corridors of the state.

In such a situation, understand here that what are the benefits of making Eknath the Chief Minister of BJP.

'No support for rebellion to get power'

In fact, after the revolt in Shiv Sena, there were constant allegations against Maharashtra BJP that the party has written the script of the entire rebellion in collaboration with Eknath to get power in the state.

Amidst the ongoing political crisis in the state, Uddhav Thackeray had said, "If I resign, can you guarantee that the Chief Minister will be Shiv Sainik?"

In such a situation, by naming Shinde, an auto driver turned minister for the top post, the BJP has tried to quash the statements that it is power hungry.

On the other hand, Eknath Shinde, who has repeatedly complained about Uddhav Thackeray weakening the Hindutva ideology of Shiv Sena by aligning with ideologically opposite parties, is currently being seen as the main face of Shiv Sena.

Also he is a Maratha MLA.

In such a situation, giving him the top post is a bonus for the BJP in its attempt to tighten its grip on Maharashtra.

was accused of destabilizing

Apart from these reasons, BJP being on the post of Deputy Chief Minister is also beneficial for the party.

This is because the party was accused of destabilizing the politics of the state just to get power.

But by not holding the post of Chief Minister, the party has tried to give a clear message that they are not greedy for power.

Sources say that BJP wants to give a message that it is the government of Shiv Sena led by Eknath Shinde.

Significantly, in the coming days, the Shinde camp is expected to fight for the party's name and symbol against Uddhav Thackeray, whose father Bal Thackeray founded the party.

If this happens, the BJP will succeed in its objective of projecting that Maharashtra is a wave of change.

If sources are to be believed, BJP wants Eknath Shinde to have complete control over Shiv Sena.

The strategy behind this is to take Shiv Sena away from the Thackeray family.

From the day it was founded, Shiv Sena has revolved around the Thackeray family.

Thackeray ordered complete surrender from the party, and his words were final.

BJP's revenge is complete

It is to be known that in the year 2019, the BJP could not form the government despite winning the elections in alliance with its oldest ally Shiv Sena.

Uddhav Thackeray surprised BJP by joining hands with NCP and Congress by ending the alliance.

In such a situation, as soon as Eknath Shinde took oath as the Chief Minister, the BJP's revenge was complete.

The BJP has now replaced Uddhav Thackeray with a more subordinate Eknath Shinde, who will be more resilient and loyal to the ruling party.

A weak leader, without Thackeray as the center of power, was at one time unimaginable.

With this, the work of BJP in Maharashtra has become easier.

Sources say that BJP is now in a direct contest with NCP and Congress in Maharashtra, not Shiv Sena.
