Starting today, second-class roads will be paid for heavy-duty traffic, and the amount of toll fees for highways and first-class roads will increase in two steps, the Road Infrastructure Agency (API) announced.

Until now, the rate for second-class roads was zero cents.

Toll fees for cars over 3.5 tons will be increased in stages - from July 1 this year and from January 1, 2023.

Cars between 3.5 and 12 tons, depending on their eco-category, will pay between 6 and 9 cents per kilometer traveled on the highway.

The tariff for traffic on first class roads will be between 5 and 8 stotinki per kilometer, and for second class roads - between 2 and 3 stotinki. 

From today, cars over 12 tons, which have 2 or 3 axles, according to their eco-category, will pay between 16 and 20 cents for the highway.

The salary for crossing a first class road will be between 13 and 17 stotinki per kilometer, and for second class roads - between 9 and 11 stotinki.

For cars over 12 tons with 4 more axles, the price per kilometer from today will be 15 cents for a second-class road for a vehicle category EURO VI, EEV and 32 cents for categories EURO 0, I, II when traveling on a highway. 

According to the vehicle category and road class, buses between 3.5 and 12 tons will pay between 1 and 5 cents per kilometer from today.

Those weighing more than 12 tons - between 2 and 6 st./km.
