An English police officer who was filmed kicking and throwing a 15-year-old girl to the ground has not been fired.

An unidentified officer from Norfolk Police Station was filmed kicking a teenage girl in Norwich on September 26.

Police later confirmed they had given him a written warning for misconduct.

In the video of the incident, which took place in front of the Indian restaurant City of Spice, two police officers are seen trying to arrest a woman who is resisting arrest.

A girl (15) who was with the woman tried to stop them from doing so.

Soon a third policeman enters the scene, who kicks the 15-year-old girl and throws her to the ground.

Dexter Hanna (41), who filmed the incident, said the policeman did not ask the girl any questions before kicking her.

In the video, she can be heard telling the police that they can break her neck this way.

But he added that the girls "tried to impress him" when they saw he was filming what was happening.

"At first a policeman came and tried to restrain the girl, he tried to be polite.

And then when I started filming, she started doing the show.

She started harassing and hitting the policeman," said Hanna.

"However, when the third policeman came, he didn't ask any questions, he just hit the other girl hard," he added.
