According to the information of "APA-Economics" referring to the Bulgarian press, the transportation of the full contracted volumes (1 billion cubic meters per year) will not be carried out through the 182-kilometer Greece-Bulgaria connecting gas pipeline (Interconnector Greece - Bulgaria - IGB), but through another - Nea Mesimvria, temporary must be realized from the delivery point.

It should be recalled that due to the postponement of the commissioning of the connecting gas pipeline Greece-Bulgaria (it was supposed to be commissioned at the end of 2020), Azerbaijani gas was temporarily transported to Bulgaria through the existing connecting line at the border point of Greece (Kula-Sidirokastro), which limited the volumes of transportation.
