You can clean the microwave oven quickly and easily using the natural cures you already have at home.

For effective cleansing, follow these five steps:

Make a cleansing mixture

Fill a larger bowl, which is safe to use in the microwave, with two to three glasses of water and add half a lemon or two tablespoons of squeezed lemon juice.

If you do not have lemon, you can also use an orange and as a substitute you can use half a cup of vinegar.

Cook the cleaning mixture in the microwave

The bowl with the cleaning mixture should be placed in the microwave and heated for five minutes on high heat.

After that, do not remove it immediately, but leave it in the microwave for an additional 15 minutes so that the steam acts on the solid stains and thus provides easier cleaning.

Carefully remove the container

Open the microwave and carefully remove the container with the cleaning mixture.

To avoid burns, use a kitchen towel or oven glove.

Once you have thrown the hot mass into the sink, you can drain the lemon you used and leave it in the sink to spread the pleasant smell throughout the kitchen.

Wipe the inside of the microwave

Wipe the inside of the microwave with a damp cloth or sponge.

If hard impurities still cannot be removed, add a little baking soda to the stains and rub a little harder.

To clean the inside of the door, use a mixture of vinegar and water in equal proportions.

Clean the outside of the microwave

To wipe the microwave from the outside, also use a damp cloth or sponge.

Remember to clean even small grooves like those around the neck or buttons.

Three or four times a year you should clean dust mites from openings in the back of the microwave - this can easily be done with a vacuum cleaner.
