New Delhi:

The Supreme Court has allowed Maharashtra minister Nawab Malik and former state home minister Anil Deshmukh to cast their votes in the floor test to be held on Thursday.

Both the leaders are in jail in cases related to PMLA, and they had applied in the Supreme Court on Wednesday itself seeking permission to vote in the floor test of the Uddhav Thackeray government.

Since both the leaders are lodged under the cases registered by the Enforcement Directorate (ED) and the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI), they will have to accompany the police till Thursday's assembly hall.

After the process is over, they will be taken back to the jail.
