Sisodia had written a letter to Vinay Kumar Saxena in connection with the corruption case of building the hospital.

New Delhi:

Delhi's Lieutenant Governor (LG) Vinay Kumar Saxena on Tuesday wrote to Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal, terming the allegations of Deputy Chief Minister Manish Sisodia as wrong and saying that he is favoring the BJP.

Manish Sisodia wrote a letter to Lieutenant Governor Vinay Kumar Saxena on June 22 in connection with the alleged corruption in the construction of the hospital.

In fact, Sisodia had sent a letter to the LG a few days ago, accusing him of favoring the BJP, in connection with allowing the Anti-Corruption Branch (ACB) to investigate the alleged irregularities in the construction of seven temporary hospitals during the Kovid-19 epidemic. .

On this, LG Vinay Kumar Saxena has responded.

The Lieutenant Governor wrote to Kejriwal that it is very sad and shocking that the statements made by the Deputy Chief Minister are factually and legally incorrect.

In the corruption complaint case against the PWD officer, the investigation was allowed after careful examination.

This permission is in accordance with the Prevention of Corruption Act.

The statement of Deputy Chief Minister Manish Sisodia that the previous Lt Governor had closed the matter after a thorough investigation seems strange.

He said that the file notings show that the matter was never closed.

Therefore to say that the matter has been reopened is completely wrong.

Lieutenant Governor Vinay Kumar Saxena wrote that this appears to be an attempt of the Deputy Chief Minister to mislead the general public.

I would like you to advise your ministers to avoid such unproven and meaningless talk which is misleading and creating disturbance.

But the current Lieutenant Governor Vinay Kumar Saxena allowed the Anti-Corruption Branch (ACB) to investigate the matter within a few days of assuming office.

Delhi Deputy Chief Minister Manish Sisodia was annoyed with the ACB being given the investigation of the alleged corruption in the construction of the hospital and said that we are not afraid of any investigation but the Lt Governor did not follow the rules and regulations in this matter.

Manish Sisodia has lodged his two objections and has written a letter to the Lieutenant Governor.
