At the invitation of Prosecutor General Kamran Aliyev, a delegation led by the Prosecutor General of Qatar Issa bin Saad Al Nuaimi visited our country.

During the visit, the guests visited the Heydar Aliyev Center.

The press service of the Prosecutor General's Office told APA that the delegation got acquainted with the stands reflecting the life and activity of the prominent statesman and was given detailed information about the museums and exhibits located in the Center.

Then a bilateral meeting was held at the Prosecutor General's Office of the Republic of Azerbaijan.

During the meeting, it was noted that the development of friendly and cooperative relations between the two countries has reached the level of strategic partnership due to the joint efforts and unshakable political will of the heads of state, and bilateral relations based on deep history and cultural roots will continue to develop.

Prosecutor General Kamran Aliyev under the leadership of President Ilham Aliyev has strengthened the necessary legal framework for the prosecutor's office, comprehensively modernized the prosecutor's office, further improved its structure, radically reformed the staff, and strengthened the rights of citizens. and informed the guests about the establishment of mutually beneficial relations with other law enforcement agencies in order to ensure their freedom, as well as other tasks ahead in modern times.

The Prosecutor General thanked the State of Qatar for its support to our country during the 44-day Patriotic War under the leadership of President, Supreme Commander-in-Chief Ilham Aliyev.

Expressing gratitude for the warm reception, the head of the delegation Issa bin Saad Al-Nuaimi said that his organization attaches great importance to the development of relations with Azerbaijan. He expressed confidence that they would continue to support each other.

The sides also exchanged views on legal cooperation.

After the meeting, the delegation visited the History Museum of the Prosecutor General's Office dedicated to the life and work of national leader Heydar Aliyev, as well as the development of the Azerbaijani Prosecutor's Office, as well as the 44-day war, led by President Ilham Aliyev and First Vice President Mehriban Aliyeva. They got acquainted with the corners and exhibits reflecting the restoration work.

Afterwards, the Prosecutors General signed a Memorandum of Understanding on Cooperation in order to strengthen legal cooperation between our countries, further intensify existing ties and deepen legal ties.

Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the State of Qatar to the Republic of Azerbaijan Faisal bin Abdullah Hamad Abdullah Al-Hinzab and Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of our country to Qatar Rashad Ismayilov also attended the events.
