The next round of talks between Turkish, Finnish and Swedish officials was held in Brussels today.

APA reports that Swedish Prime Minister Magdalena Andersson said this at a joint press conference with NATO Secretary General Jens Stoltenberg.

He said that the telephone conversation with Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan last Saturday was good and constructive.

"The next round of talks between Turkish, Swedish and Finnish officials took place in Brussels this morning. I hope that the talks will be successful in the near future. This will pave the way for our membership process to begin soon. Sweden and Finland "It will contribute to security," he said.

The Swedish Prime Minister said that his country's security services are carefully considering Turkey's request for the extradition of suspected terrorists and a decision on extradition will be made in accordance with the European Convention.
